* Clean Hands: Before playing, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly to remove sweat, oil, and dust. I usually use a mild hand soap and then dry my hands with a clean towel.
* Clean Mind: When playing with jade, maintain a calm mind, gently caress it, and feel the warmth of the jade. This is not just maintenance but also a spiritual enjoyment.
