  • "Playing" is the Best Care: Turquoise fears dryness most and loves human oils. Therefore, frequent wearing and handling are the best ways to care for it. Every day, I spend some time handling my turquoise bracelet, allowing it to fully contact my skin. Remember, always wash your hands thoroughly before handling to avoid dirt, sweat, or cosmetics from getting on the turquoise. When handling, gently rub it with your fingertips, feeling its warm touch, which is also a way of "oiling" it.


  • Avoid Contact with Chemicals: Turquoise has a relatively porous structure and is very sensitive to acidic and alkaline substances. Perfumes, detergents, soaps, cosmetics, and other products contain chemical components. Once they come into contact, at best, the color will fade; at worst, white spots or cracks may appear. I have a friend who didn't take off his turquoise pendant while showering, and as a result, a white edge appeared around the pendant. He was heartbroken for a long time. So, when doing housework, showering, or applying makeup, always remember to remove your turquoise.


  • Keep Away from High Temperatures and Sun Exposure: Turquoise contains crystalline water internally.
