Beijing, November 20, 2026 – The highly anticipated Beijing Council International 2026 Autumn Art Auction concluded successfully today. As one of the highlights of this autumn auction, the Chinese Jadeware special session performed particularly well, with the Hetian jade pendant section further confirming the resilience and vitality of the high-end jade collection market through its strong market performance and continuous emergence of exquisite pieces.

In this autumn auction, Council International presented a total of 120 Hetian jade pendant lots, with 108 pieces successfully sold, achieving a high sell-through rate of 90%. The total transaction value reached RMB 125 million, an increase of 18.5% compared to the same period last year. Among them, several exquisite Hetian jade pendants were sold at prices far exceeding expectations, becoming the focus of this auction.

The most eye-catching lot was Lot 0328, a “Hetian Jade Seed Material Auspicious Beast Pendant”. This pendant features warm and delicate jade, with a first-grade whiteness and exquisite carving, vividly depicting the agility and majesty of the auspicious beast. The lot started at RMB 8 million and, after multiple rounds of intense bidding, was finally hammered at RMB 18.5 million, with a premium rate of 131.25%, setting a new record for Hetian jade pendants at Council International in the past three years. Another lot, Lot 0415, a “Hetian Jade Bi-color Eighteen Arhats Pendant”, with its rich jade color and vividly carved figures, was sold for RMB 6.2 million, far exceeding its estimated price of RMB 2.8 million, with a premium rate of 121.4%. In addition, several Hetian jade pendants estimated between RMB 1 million and RMB 3 million were also sold at high premiums, demonstrating strong market demand for mid-to-high-end Hetian jade pendants.
