In professional terms, it's often said, 'three parts water, seven parts 'zhong',' where 'zhong' refers to the jadeite's texture. Ice jadeite has a very 'old zhong,' and its gel-like quality and iridescence are its prominent features.

  • Observe the 'color': The color of ice jadeite can be colorless, with floating flowers, clear water, blue water, etc. Among them, colorless ice jadeite is highly sought after for its pure and flawless nature. If it has floating flowers, observe whether the distribution of the flowers is natural, lively, and whether the colors are vibrant. For clear water and blue water ice jadeite, the color should be uniform, rich, and not grayish or dull.
